HP DesignJet: Windows 7 Support

Folks, it looks like HP has begun to release Windows 7 HP DesignJet drivers on schedule for the following plotters this month: the HP DesignJet 70, 90, 110Plus, and the 130. Also supported as of November 2009 are the DesignJet 500 series, 800 series, 815, and 820. Keep checking back for updates each month as new drivers are constantly released.The release schedule is available here.

Description: HP Designjet 4000 and 4500 Printer series Firmware Upgrade

Fixes:

• Under certain conditions when printing with the HP-GL/2 driver and the mirror option was selected, this caused the image of the job to be incorrectly positioned on the media. With new firmware GW_14.1.1.1, this has been fixed.
• When printing PostScript files, there were some issues which Adobe has now fixed. These fixes have been incorporated into the new PostScript firmware version.
